Pastor Vincent Young is the Pastor of New Beginning Covenant Ministry. Pastor Young accepted the Lord at a very early age. As a member of Greater Tabernacle Baptist Church in West Dallas, Texas, for over 42 years, he was active in numerous ministries and served in various capacities, including Choir Director for over 19 years. In 1998 he became Assistant Pastor but continued to serve the church as Choir Director. In addition to his spiritual duties in the ministry he oversaw payroll, president of the minister, youth leader, and cooking and activities director. In 2009 he opened New Beginning Covenant Ministry where he currently presides as Senior Pastor and is actively continuing his work in the ministry.
First Lady, Young served as Vice President of the Usher Board for 10 years at Greater Tabernacle Baptist Church in Dallas, Texas, and is currently serving in the choir at New Beginning Covenant Ministry and is an active member of the praise team. She also assists with the children’s choir. She is the children and youth Sunday School teacher, serves as President of the Mission Department. In February 2014 she accepted her call to the gospel as a prophet administering and proclaiming the gospel of Christ. She currently serves as the Youth Pastor at New Beginnings while also fulfilling her calling as First Lady.
Assistant Pastor Harlan was ordained to minister the gospel in June 2013. In 2007 Ethan accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior and shortly thereafter began attending classes at the Mount Olive Bible Institute, majoring in Biblical Studies. In 2009, he joined New Beginnings Covenant Ministry, under the leadership of Pastor Vincent Young, where he continues to serve faithfully. He currently works as a Youth Minister and leads the ”Man Up” men’s ministry at New Beginnings Covenant Ministry and overseas the Prison Ministry. Ethan Harlan began professionally as a soldier in the U.S. Army, where he served as a logistics coordinator for 9 years. Before joining Georgia Pacific in 2006, Ethan was employed by the Federal Bureau of Prisons as an inmate employment coordinator, where he facilitated employment and education opportunities for felons while incarcerated and after their release.
Servant Phreddra Lewis, an ordained minister of the gospel, chosen and anointed by God, has been ministering the word of God since 2003. She serves as an associate minister, as well as Director of Music Ministries at NBCM under the leadership of Pastor Vincent Young. She not only uses her voice to minister in word, but also in song. She has been blessed to sing with some of gospel greats. She is a psalmist who believes in the power of worship, and counts it a blessing, and the favor of God to have been anointed and appointed for music ministry. Through her gifts, talents, and ministry, she is dedicated to equipping and encouraging the body of Christ to live in the fullness of their Kingdom rights in order to attain all that God pre-destined.
Minister La’Donna Harlan is an ordained minister of the gospel and an active member of New Beginning Covenant Ministry serving in the Choir, on the Praise Team, as a mentor of the Spiritual Praise Dancers and she also serves on the church’s Board of Directors. She is passionate about ministering the Word of God and committed to her Spiritual Family and ministering to Women who desire to learn God’s purpose for their lives. She has established the I CHOOSE ministry that is dedicated to helping young adult women make better choices according to God’s word. She is eager to fulfill her purpose and strengthen her ministry through prayer and the guidance from Pastor Vincent Young and First Lady Tammy Young. She proudly served her country as a Judge Advocate in the United States Army and today she has a successful law practice, Harlan Law Firm in Cedar Hill, Texas.
Reverend Marilyn Willis. Reverend Marilyn Willis is an active member of New Beginning Covenant Ministry. She is currently a Choir Member, Praise and Worship Team Member, Mission Member, and President of the Choir. She also currently serves on the church’s Board of Directors. Reverend Willis spent 25 years working for Dallas Area Rapid Transit, beginning her career in the Customer Service Department and holding various positions during her time with DART.
